Due to the promotional nature of our sampling program, we have a strict one per person/household limit on our Discovery Kit. We do offer our Gift Discovery Kit option which can be purchased multiple times and includes the same samples. We reserve the right to discontinue business with any customers whom we believe abuse any of our sampling programs.

In rare instances, item substitutions may occur in the Discovery Kit if we run out of stock of a particular sample. Please note that we cannot send out replacements for substituted items.

Depending on recommended use frequency, some products may last longer than others. Most customers get 1-2 weeks of use. Please refer to individual product’s directions for proper use.

We never test on animals! :) All of our products are vegan, with the exceptions being our All In, Cocoa Crème Body Butter, Lip Trick and our No Plans Face Mask, which contain a small amount of beeswax. First - DON'T PANIC. Often the reaction is your skin adjusting to a new product. This can occur with any product from any brand.

Your reaction could be pimples, dryness, flaking, or redness and this is a well known phenomenon called purging. This is caused by the new ingredients increasing your skin cells turnover, causing you to shed more dead skin cells than usual and bringing clogged pores to the surface resulting in breakouts, irritation, and dryness.

If you tried one product and the reaction was minimal, continue using it for up to four to six weeks (as long as the reaction doesn't get worse). If the reaction goes away (and they usually do within a week), GREAT! If not, your skin probably doesn't work well with that product (which is totally fine and happens!).

If you used multiple products, you need to remove all but one from your routine. Use just that one for a few days, if no reaction, add another and keep adding in new products every few days. If a new product you add to the routine causes a reaction that lasts more than four to six weeks, you'll want to remove that product from your routine.

Skin reactions to new products are normal. Most people will never see a reaction from a new product, but if you do, understand it can happen and doesn't mean your skin won't work with the product! It just needs some time to adjust.

There really isn’t one definition of non-comedogenicity - basically it means a product “won’t clog pores”. It's a made up skincare industry term to market products to consumers in a certain way. While one product may clog one person's pores, it may not for another. There's no standardized or scientific way to test this claim.

While certain ingredients may have a higher degree of comedogenicity, there's no scientific consensus. Eight Saints never uses synthetic ingredients such as silicone and mineral oils which are high on the scale of known comedogenicity, because the molecules are large and they are known to clog pores.

Eight Saints does use organic jojoba oil and organic sunflower oil in many products which are very similar in consistency to the skin's natural sebum. So although these are oils, they should not clog pores when used in conjunction with daily cleansers and other natural products. These ingredients are good to include in your skincare routine as they are very hydrating and keep skin moisturized.

Ultimately you should use what works best for your unique skin, and be skeptical when brands claim to be non-comedogenic as this can mean lots of different things.
